I hate trying a recipe that looks delicious in picture’s but it’s not good in person . I also hate the fact that we think eating healthy means eating food with no flavor and that’s not for me. So I decided to share three of my go to breakfast recipes. All the recipes are under 500 calories and it will help you forget that you are eating something a little healthier and it’s super easy to make.
Waffle with Sweet berry
If you crave something sweet and want something on the healthy side this is the perfect recipe for you. It’s perfect for brunch and is the lowest on calories of the three breakfast.
- 1 waffle
- ¾ cup frozen berries
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp whip cream
-Cook frozen berry in a sauce pan with sugar until the berries soften.
-Cook waffle for 5 min or less in the airfryer
-Place waffle on plate
-place berries on top of waffle.
-Garnish with powder sugar
Hash brown with egg white
This recipe is one of my favorite and my go to. It take about 15 minutes to make and it’s not only low calorie but really tasty& savory.
- 1 hash brown ( I love the Trader Joe’s one, there so delicious)
- 2 egg white
- Tbsp olive oil
- Optional: Add sriracha
-Cook hash brown in airfryer for 15 min
-Drizzle the olive oil on the pan and add egg white
-Add black pepper and salt
While this one will scare you a little, don’t worry about the calories it’s all in the avocado which is a healthy fat . If I could eat this everyday I would . It’s mines and Susana favorite!!
- 3 egg
- 1 cup Black bean
- Cilantro (optional I ran out )
- Salsa roja
- Corn tortillas
-Cook black beans to your liking.
-Toast tortilla and starting your scramble egg to your liking
-Add scramble egg to tortilla and black bean.
-Add salsa roja ( I bought mine from chipotle)
I normally add my Mexican spice from traders Joe’s
