Hi my lovelies,
I wanted to start reviewing new products that just hit the market. My first product to review is from Urban Decay. When I started high school Urban decay was one of the most worn makeup brand. I remember they always brought out new product that were cool and fun. One of the things I really love from them is there cruelty free. Urban decay came out with a new foundation the Hydromaniac Glowy Tinted Hydrator Foundation( long name ) . I was curious on how it’s medium coverage , hydrating and also long lasting most long lasting foundation I have tried are full coverage so this intrigued me .
It full of great things that benefit your skin. One of it is Kombucha Filtrate which is a antioxidant that brightens and purifies your skin. It also has marula oil which hydrates, and seals in moisture. Is also free of phthalates, vegan and it’s cruelty free.
I’m not sure if I need to add glossier matte moisturizer but I always put it on under my makeup, because I normally get oily and it help control it. So when I was applying the foundation with my beauty blender the foundation felt matted. It blended out well, but at first I thought I got the wrong color, it gave me a white cast but it settled in after a few minutes and look great on and the white cast went away .
The coverage is a full medium. It cover most of my marks. I only put concealer around my mouth but that out of habit. It looked like I was wearing a full coverage foundation but Was heavy on my skin.
Longevity/ Photo Quality
This foundation came out great in pictures!! It passes the flash test. It looked like my own skin but flawless, I wore this with a mask, and let me tell you it pass the test also. I had it on for more than 10hr and it was still on. I expected it to fade especially with having to wearing a mask.
I love it, I’m swapping my old foundation for this one. This honestly the foundation I been looking for, something that long lasting but feel light on my skin. I never try urban decay foundation before and I’m impressed. It spark a interest in the brand for me. Would definitely check out more their products.
