Delicious Cranberry lemon Scone


Hi my lovelies,

I am a person who love to eat something light for breakfast. So I always drink a coffee with a pastry. I normally always grab a coffee Cake or a scone, and that’s when it hit me. I have never made a scone recipe on the blog. Not sure why if it’s super easy and delicious.This is the perfect recipe for beginners . Scone are great their not overly sweet but perfect when paired with coffee. Not to mention you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen.


2 cups All- purpose flour

1/4 cups sugar

1 tbsp lemon zest

1/2 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold)

1 tbsp baking powder

1/4 salt

1/4 cup milk

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh cranberries


1 1/2 tbsp lemon zest

1 cup powered sugar


Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 F

Step 2: Line baking pan with parchment paper

Step 3: Add flour to bowl ( sift flour), add sugar baking powder and salt.

Step 4: Add lemon zest. Add butter ( cut butter into cube). Mix with hands until the mixture is crumbly and rough. Butter should be visible.

Step 5: Add milk whipping cream, egg and vanilla together. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.

Step 6: Bring dough together and add cranberries. Press cranberries and flatten the dough a little.

Step 6: Make a disk shape and cut into scone shapes. Should make a wedges. Brush with milk. Cook for 20-25 min until scone are light brown.


Step 1: Let scone cool before glazing.

Step 2: In a bowl add powered sugar, lemon juice and drizzle on top scone.
