12 Day till. Christmas: Pastelón de Papas

Hi my Lovelies,

On the 2 second day of Christmas we are giving you another recipe for a snowy cozy day in. My family love this recipe ! In English I think you call it a Shepard pie but I tweak it a bit to make it taste even more magical.

You will need :

8 Potatoes

Ground beef

2 Green onion

1 cup Mozzarella

1/4 tsp Black pepper

1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper

1 tbsp cream cheese

Instructions:

Peel potatoes cook in medium heat for 15 min until fork could go smoothly through potatoes.

Cook ground beef with garlic paste, onion, adobo basically season to your liking (you even add taco seasoning) Cook until golden.

Once potato are cook mash and add butter, green onion and cream cheese mix under cream cheese melts.

Butter dish and add a thick layer of Potato and then add layer of ground beef. My dish only let me do one layer but if your dish is bigger keep alternating layer of beef. cook in oven for 30 min cover in foil, remove from oven a remove foil and top with mozzarella cheese cook for another 20 min it’s done when edges are golden and crispy.
