STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING

I have a really good recipe for today,Sticky Toffee Pudding. I know it’s a holiday Recipe but I try it in a restaurant and wanted to recreate it. I assume it was going to be hard to make but it was actually pretty easy and most of the ingredients you probably have it in her home.

Ingredients 
Cake Dates (7 dates pitted is the best)
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup water 
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder 
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 
3/4 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter butter, softened 
1 egg
1 1/4 all-purpose flour

Sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
3/4 heavy cream
Vanilla ice cream( optional )


1.Boil dates with water for 15min and blend in a mixer until smooth. Add vanilla extract.
Mix butter and brown sugar until we’ll combine.Add egg to the butter and sugar.Mix butter mixture to date mixture.In a separate bowl mix flour, baking power and baking soda and salt.Mix flour to the wet mixture until well combined.I added to a valentine day cake mold but is best to use 8×9 pan.

Bake for 22 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.


For Sauce
Combine sugar and butter in low heat. Add cream until sauce is combine for 3-5 minutes.Poke the cake with a toothpick or a fork.I like to add the sauce when severing the cake whole is warm, with a little bit of vanilla ice cream.ReplyForward
